The doctor said I have a viral upper respiratory infection and then thought I might be developing asthma. I got an exray done on my chest and a blood test to check everything. The results came back and nothing is wrong with me.Over the past 2 days however, I have had a sharp pain in my right rib. It hurts all the time and taking pain relief tablets do not help at all. It hurts the most when I cough or move, if I just stay in one position I'm okay. I want to know what's wrong and why I have this?
Talk to your doctor about this as there are many possible causes of the pain. One I forgot to mention in a similar post to someone else a minute age is pleurisy. Which sounds more like what you are experiencing.
