STILL HAVING RECURRENT CHEST INFECTIONS /BRONCHITIS ASMATIC WHEEZE

UPDATE FROM MIBLI LAST POST MAY 31ST . reccurrent chest infections uti infections on antibiotics constantly.

I am greatful for your veiws on my last post . Since then had lft tests were negative had challenge test physiologist could not see any thing apparentthat would suggest asthma  Dont see resp doc till next appiontment 22 july which is 5 weeks away .I am still having sharp stabbing pains in lungs that have faired up worse again. I ,ve been unwell aches pains all over pain in throat and neck of throat heavy calves shoulder pain, also burning -up also had severe reflux stomache burning gastric in throat Phoned got emergency appiontment
GP  said it was my bronchitis with an asthmatic wheeze and my pulse was high, more antibiotics and predisidone . I tiring of feeling unwell been off work 14 weeks cant see way back at present . I am warying feeling unwell i have no diagnosis yet as lft are negative and is challenge test what do you suggest i see my works manager frequently for absent management and cannot give any diagnosis . What do you suggest now these two test are negative.  WHAT CAN YOU MAKE OF THIS DR DAVID T when i am genuinely not feeling well .I am still on ongoing antibiotics since feb  (although had to stopped for two weeks because getting follow-up h-pylori B test ) uti still positive last week .

I have read your updated information.  You note lft’s were done.  Conventionally, that is an abbreviation for liver function tests, and that is how I will interpret it.  That you are still experiencing “sharp stabbing pains in lungs” suggests that current therapy, even if appropriate, is not effective.  The remainder of your update does not alter my original recommendations.  I urge you to share my recommendations with your current physicians, including the pulmonary specialist, and should they choose to not act upon them, that you consider seeking yet another opinion at the closest University Medical Center or at a major medical center such as the Mayo Clinic.
