Sweating and chillsChills are not characteristic of Sarcoid. Your husband's doctors will want to check him out for Tuberculosis and other, hypersensitivity lung diseases that can mimic Sarcoid.
I can associate with the night chillsChills - and day chills - and I am sure that sweating is involved too! - It is a systematic disorder - sometimes I get incredible itching ( without rash) too. The chilly feeling I get is more irritating that sweats which I rarely get - I could be chilly when its sunny and 25 degrees outside!! It is like something is crawling on my body and making all the hairs stand on end.

Diagnosed Pulmonary Sarc in 2002 now inactive - (still getting chills)
I've been reading about the Vitamin D. We met with the Pulmonary Doctor and he did a lot of bloodwork, took a new CT scan which shows one nodule has grown a bit. The radiologist suggested in his report that my husband have PET scan before any biopsy.
I'm trying to limit his Vitamin D intake.
Do any cereal food not contain Vitamin D? He loves cereal but can do without the milk.
He's been getting in the sauna and it seems to help his sweating some.
