Sharp Pain in left side of upper chest
Hi. I am 18 years old and I have recently been experiencing a sharp pain on the left side of my chest right near my breast. It usually happens when I breath in sharply or if I am laying on my left side and all of a sudden breath in while moving around. First I thought it was heart burn, but it seems to happen randomly. On a scale to ten...the pain is around a 4 or 5, but there are some that are a 6 or 7...maybe 8. When the pain comes, it gets worse when I try to exhale. It usually helps when I take shallow breathes. It lasts for about a minute then goes away. Should I be worried?
