Shortness of breath, Profuse sweating, water on lungs, sezuers when standing up

I've had sezures since I was very little. they happen allways when I stand up. There like dizzy spells. But much stonger. I had a spotanious numbro thorax in 1987. Upper left quadrent. Here lately I find it harder and harder to breath. I can not breathe at all in a steamed up bath room. I can't run for lack of air. my chest feels heavy at times. I've smoked ciggarettes for 34 years now and find it all but imposable to quite.
  I remember as a kid one time playing with asvestous. (In 61 or 62.) I spent 25 years in the wood working industry. Exsposed to a number of toxens. The most cronic (chronic) being formalthahide. I all so get constant bronceal infections. At time leads to very large amounts of fuid coming out of my lungs. It's like throwing up. But it comes out of my lungs. And the problem seems to have goten worse sience my spinal cord surgery.  If any or all of this falls into some sort of catagory. Please let me know. Thanks!

I am sure that there are several possible reasons for the breathing problems you describe. But the most likely one is due to your smoking. The symptoms you describe are quite typical of emphysema/chronic bronchitis. I would recommend that you see your doctor, have a physical examination, lung function test and x-ray, and discuss the treatment options for you. I understand your feelings about quitting smoking.
