Sinusitis triggered by cold air. Is it possible?

by charman, Jun 12, 2009 01:47PM
I have chronic sinusitis. When I was living in California, near Santa Cruz I rarely felt the symptoms. However when visiting the east coast (Massachusetts, Connecticut). My symptoms, facial pain, and phlegm in my throat, became fully active when I was exposed to cold air outside and to cold, air-conditioned air inside the house. A doctor has already told me that I have an allergy triggered by cold air. But I would really like to not limit the places I could live in the world. Since if the diagnosis is true, I could only live in the limited places where it does not get too cold in the winter and air-conditioners are not heavily used in the summer. I would appreciate your opinions.
