Small spot on left lung

by Ruby187, Mar 19, 2008 06:41PM
My husband went for a CT scan, because he has a lower back problems.  On the CT scan, it showed a small spot on his lung.  His doctor told him not to be alarmed, but he is sending him for  another one of his lung.  He is not worried, but I am a basket case.  He was a smoker, but he had quit around 12 yrs ago.  He is 64 yrs. old.  His bloodwork all came back very good.  What is the cause of that spot.  I know he has COPD, which isn't very severe. He is going for his CT scan this Friday.  I just hope and pray it is nothing serious.
