Strange smelling mucus/nose for the past 2 months or so.
For the past 2 months, I've had very unique and pungent smelling mucus. As weird as this sounds, it almost smells like a mix of garlic and a glue stick... and the mucus is almost always the same texture as dried paper glue... hard and very sticky, and rarely watery. It's usually dark as well.
My nose isn't stuffed and as far as I know I don't have any nasal allergies. I don't have any other symptoms that would indicate a chronic sinus infection or anything. Otherwise I feel fine, outside of feeling a little extra tired lately.
Another bizarre, but possibly important thing to note is that while the mucus is coming from both nostrils, the mucus from inside my left nostril is noticeably more foul smelling than the right one.
If this sounds familiar to anything I would love to know. Thank you!
