Symptoms of Lung Nodule

by eee523, Jun 04, 2009 09:22PM
Has anyone had any symptoms to lead them to find out they have a lung nodule?  I am female 56. have not smoked for 29 years, do not drink, a little overweight, can run about half mile or more. Exercise, Passed my heart and Stress test with flying colors.  My oxygen level is 98. I had gotten a gallbladder attack and on xray they found a small nodule on my lung. I go for my CAT scan tomorrow. I do not know what size it is. Not sure I do. I am terrified! I read all your post and it seems you all are dealing with your nodules with no worries. I am a little comforted reading most of your post as you all seem confident. I am trying my best to not be stressed, but cannot help it. Thanks for your post.

Hi, how did your CT scan come out.  I was in a car accident and had a CT scan for that on that they found a singular irregular bordered lung nodule. I had an ex ray done about 9 months ago due to a persistent cough  which showed nothing.  my nodule is very small only 6x8 mm so I am in the waiting game phase.  3 months if I was a non smoker 6 months if not.  I always considered myself a non smoker as I smoked random, less then a pack a week on average, sometimes none at all. But the nodule has made me realize if I smoke that little why do it at all as I'm not addicted yet.  I am deciding whether to do the 3 or 6 month interval because even if it grew, it would likely grow slowly I assume. Hope yours turned out ok
