I am getting check for TB next week, but in the mean while i am concerned....My x ray showed spotsBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots and lines on the lower part of my lungs Dr. said it could be signs of TB b/c of night sweatsSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent and discomfort i have been having for the past 3 weeks...depending on the test results which i will take next week....This morning i saw mucous and blood in my stool! could that also be a sign or maybe something else?? just worried does anyone know what that might indicate??
I have very similar symptoms as you do. I also did the x-ray before the TB test and saw nodules and streaks coming from it (for your information I have asthma as well). Then a CT scan was done and more nodules appeared, which were several surrounding a large one of size 2-3.5 cm approximately (which of course worried the day lights out of me and very alarming). A skin test was done and it was very positive (20 mm +), however I do not sweatSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent or show other symptoms beside a chronic cough and shortness of breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor (so they don’t think its active TB….active TB would show those symptoms with weight loss etc etc). Due to my age (26), non-smoker and pretty healthy, they are thinking latent TB for the time being, but more tests will need to get done. I am also very nervous. Hope its latent TB and not lung cancer. (its definitely been keeping me up)
Think positive, and keep me posted on your prognosis.
Thank you for sharing your story...since i have posted this my test result has come back positve( 11 mm). They still waiting on the x-ray results from the radiologist to determine between active TB or a latent TB.... I don't know what to expect at this point :( , and I will keep you in my prayers hope everything goes well with you ....keep in touch

Thank you very much! Its nice to know that your not the only one worrying about these issues. I will also keep you in my prayers, in the meantime just relax and don't worry too much, I am sure everything will go well.
