TO ALL...

by JoeSock, Mar 08, 2008 08:47PM
Im sorry im new to this site so I apologize if this comes in question format, I don't know how to answer the questions on here, it seems they will not let me. But anyway this is an answer especially for SCOSGIRL think that was how its spelt on the very top. You posted the question....ANYWAY my name is joe im 20 yrs old. I have had asthma all my life. I am adopted so I don't know any family history of my biological parents. I feel like I have everything wrong with me all the time. My allergist says I have this condition called Dermographism i believe, which when I took a scratch test EVERYTHING blew up and even water showed to be an allergy of mine. This test was then invalid. That is a conidtion I believe 12% of people have where if I were to scratch myself right now, I would get a welt there. Anyway a couple of weeks ago (about 3) I layed down in my bed at my college dorm. All of the sudden I felt a really weird feeling in my heart. Took the breath out of me. Now I had experiened palpatations once or twice before, but this was totally different. It felt like I was going to have a heart attack. After this, I did not feel right. About 4 or 5 days later I started getting EXTREMELY bad acid reflux. It was really bad. I thought to myself what the hell is going on. I know i have always had really bad asthma and I was wondering why everything else was going wrong. A FEW DAYS LATER...I then was coughing up yellow and my voice was shot, I was sooo sick. WEnt home to a brand new Doc, and he listened to my chest. Now I had the flu but it had already seemed to have gone away, then he told me I had bronchitis. I was like ok wuteverrr and I was put on meds. Cefdinir, ephed, and nexium b.c I told him about the acid reflux. That was last saturday i went. Today is a week and I have felt the weird feeling in my heart again yesterday and I was like why why why! I looked up so many things online. I also read up that my bronchial tube that gives you bronchitis is right by the heart more toward the left side. I now do think that it is only do to the bronchitis which I was diagnosed with orignally. But then again if I felt the weird feeling in my heart 3 weeks ago, and feeling it now...was that ust the start of the bronchitis/flu? I'd like to think so. Anyway, I DO FEEL LIKE MY RIB IS BROKEN RIGHT BELOW MY LEFT CHEST BONE, AND MY AIRWAYS ARE REALLY TIGHT!! Yet I can HONESTLY say that even though I still feel not great at all and even though this has been going on for yes a FEW WEEKS now, I do feel that I have gotten somewhat better. Also anxiety does play a HUGE role in everything we think about. I did get a Chest X-Ray...they said negative. Yet i still feel like they should check it again ( somewhat hypochondria am I), but I know I will be fine. REMEMBER everyone...it is the winter time and this weather hasn't been great at alll...trust me. But things will get better..
