Well, let me tell you this. In February 2013 I got a hacking cough which was so bad it was like I imagine a childs whooping cough to be. That lasted 8 weeks. After at the end of March, I thought I would dig the garden. Well, after 4 or 5 spades I got this horrible horrible ache in both arms, across my chest, down my back, over my shoulders. I had to sit down fearing the worst when it subsided again. I checked my pulse - normal, breathing normal. Reading on the internet that it could be angina (I'm 59 and my gran had it and so does my cousin) I said I would see the doctor if it returned. Well it woke me up at midnight one night and I felt so ill. My wife phoned the NHS line and they sent a paramedic who after hearing chest pain called an ambulance. I spent 6 hours in hospital connected to an ECG machine and blood tests. The doctor said that nothing could be found with my heart and that it was probably a virus and go home and take ibuprofen for anti-inflammation. Well it continued to be a mystery and a worry until I met up with a friend who tells me he has it and so does his wife. We both agree that its the worst illness all of us have had in our lives. The upside is it that there is safety in numbers - the downside is that his doctor says that plenty of others have it and that it takes 9 months to clear. I am not looking forward to having this horrible vomit inducing ache for another 5 months.
well i woke up today having worse chest pain, and worse stomach pain and now diarrhea. i guess its a virus then..this ***** !
