I have a couple of related symptoms that I have seen others have on this site.
First I get a sensation of food 'going the wrong way' for no reason (not talking whilst eating, rushing etc etc)
Also get what i call tickle throat. I wake suddenly at night with a violent cough. I literally wake coughing and it feels as though my throat has closed over and is very itchy. I cough and cough and cough.....
Well, I have been off all sugars as I am trying to loose weight and it has gone. yesterday I ate birthday cake and it was back.
I am trying going off sugars (including honey, agarve etc) again, and then I will eat them again and see what happens.
i have f ace such a problem of irritating dry cough i have used different cough syrups but still its on... dnt know what to do! cough increases especially when something passes through the throat either solid or liquid. i'll try not to use sugars and see if it will work with me....
