What can I do for thick nasal mucous secretions - post nasal.

I have tried Mucinex, saline spray, decongestants,etc. and I still have thick mucous secretions down the back of my throat.  I have had a sinus infection and been on 2 different antibiotics, but can't get rid of this thick stuff! HELP - it gets so bad that I sometimes feel like I can't swallow. Saline spray helps for a few minutes but it comes back. I tried allergy meds and that thickens it worse.

nasal steroid spray will help reduce the inflammation in your nose and sinuses, but it will take up to a month or two of continuous use to reach the full benefit.
