What could it be

This is the first time that I have posted in this section...my brother died last weekend and he was only 26.  I know that you obviously won't know the answer to my question, but I hope that you can give me some clues.  He had asthma but never had to severely be treated/hospitalized.  The night that he died he was throwing up.  The whole family had the 24 hr bug that week and he obvioulsy got in from them.  He was throwing up every 15 minutes.  He complained that he could not breathe but did not want to got to the hospital, for he was asked several times.  His history consists of asthma, allergies, constant blowing of the nose and coughing.  His weight was down to 120 when he passed and he was 5'7".  Heart, brain, stomach were all ruled out as a factor.  What kinds of diseases that go unknown would cause someone in his situation to pass away so suddenly with his symptoms?  Could it have been his immune system?

I am very sorry that you have lost your brother. This has to be a terrible time for you and your family. You are correct in saying that it is almost impossible to know exactly what went wrong that day. It is possible that your brother did suffer a severe asthma attack that was started by the virus that caused his vomiting. It is also possible that he aspirated some of the material into his lungs that caused a severe reaction. The findings in the lungs will help to answer these questions. I know it is important for you to have some answers about this tragedy and what caused it. The findings on the autopsy should help.

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss.  It is always so hard to lose a loved one, especially someone who appears perfectly  healthy.  I do hope you are able to find some answers.  Please remember than your brother will live in through you and everyone whose life he touched and that he is now without pain and breathing freely.  I wish you peace.

First of all I am very  sorry and my prayers go to you and your family. Though, he might have died from severe deydration. If he was throwing up every 15 minutes, without any illness or disease symptoms, he could have lost all of his body water and his body couldnt function. many people have died from throwing up like that due to the flu or a 24 hour bug from dydration. well I hope this helps. and God bless.
