What singulair does when taken for 3 years?

hav been taking singulair for 3 years. Cramps in fingers, throat and leg occured common. Shoulders drooped. Standing and sitting posture gone really bad. Extreme tiredness 24X7. Always thirsty even after gulping bottles of water. Inactive physically and mentally. Become even more inferior in social gatherings and activities. Can't even meet minimum commitments and thus affects career and personal, family relationships.

After dropping Everything became normal after 8 - 10 days. Thing is, when carrying out physical activities breath is faster, But  can live with that. Good bye Singulair

So be careful with singulair and use it at THE ONLY helpless situation

Depression is a side effect of singulair.  Sounds like you are really suffering with it.  Call your doctor ASAP to make adjustments in your treatment.  I have never heard of twitching with Singulair, but it is a side effect of other asthma meds.

Be sure to let your doctor know that you have stopped taking Singulair this week and watch for signs of uncontrolled asthma - increased use of inhaler, coughing, sighing...  There are a lot of subtle signs that people miss.

You do need to be off the med, but be careful.

Take care and I am glad you are feeling better.

My daughter has taken singular since she was 3, she's now 19.  I'm really worried about long term effects....she's in college now and after a year of sinus problems we've taken her off gluten, dairy, eggs and soy and she is doing much better.  Just recently we had trouble getting a renewed rx down to her in school and she's been 'out' of singular for a week.  Every now and then a little chest tightness but now I'm really feeling like we should give it a go and try taking her off.   Bottom line, after last year, I really want her to have a healthy school year at college.  Also, she is amenorrheic,  has anyone ever heard of any complications with singular use and menstrual cycles?
