I was told by my Dr, that I have Bronchitis and was given antibiotics
(10 days) .However I have finshed them all and still have a bad cough.This has been over two weeks.My questions is , should I have x-rays done or what can I do to help brake the cough...I have been drinking lots , using a cough syrup.
Any ideas,Thank you

Coughing for over 2 weeks in the winter is a common problem. It can be from a virus (will not respond to antibiotics), an infection of the sinuses, or bronchitis, as indicated by your physician. If it is persisting, a good physical examination can help in making the diagnosis. Occasionally, other diagnostic tests, such as chest and sinus x-rays are needed. Before starting on another antibiotic, I would speak to your physician again or see him/her and seeing if this is the next step to take.

But I came across this ebook that opened my eyes to a lot of the things and help me understand the subject. I was having difficulty dealing with it because I didn’t really understand what was going on, and my doctor kept giving me antibiotics.
