Speech disorders therapist and for a further fiberoptic laryngoscopy, which however found nothing, except a "red area" which I was told was not a problem. For the past year I have had a lot of phlegm in my throat, and a "whistling" sound when I exhale. Is this normal? I told the man who did the laryngoscopy about this, but he seemed to think that it was only stress.
