Worried about Pain

by vkc2016, Nov 11, 2006 12:00AM
Been Having pain in right abdomin (abdomen) and lower abdomin (abdomen). THe last week i have had chest pain with deep or hard to breathe. Pain in leg joints, headaches, numbness in face legs, arms toes and fingers. Tingling sensations with no apparent reason. Been seeing doctor and he has done ultrasounds, CT Scans, MRI, Chest x-ray, blood work, Hyda scan(Gallbladder contracts poorly). Sent me to specialist for stomach and he did barium enemia, small bowel. All tests have come back normal. They put me on Buspirone and Hyoscyamine. Went to see another doctor and waiting on him to get records but he put me on Prozac. Been going on now for 4 months and i just wants to know what is wrong with me.

This sounds more like a multi-system problem rather than one primarily in the abdomen.  The doctors should look to 2 possibilities:  1) an infectious disease, for example Lyme disease; or 2) an auto-immune disease.
