X Ray Report

The impression from my mother's XRay report says:

Small patch of opacity noted in the right apical zone - s/o fibrotic scar.

Prominent bronchovascular markings noted in both the lung fields.

What could this mean?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Good to see that your mother is doing well. Healed lesions do not need any further therapy.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I did consult our family doctor and he did confirm that the report indicated nothing other than normal after comparing the results with an x-ray taken a few months back. Thanks again.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Apical scar tissue in the lungs is usually due to healed tuberculous pathology. Prominent bronchovascular markings are usually an incidental finding.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
