I would like to locate someone with asbestosis and learn how they are dealing with the disease.  So far I have not found anyone.  I am currently listed for a lung transplant.

A support group would be the best source for you to talk with others and learn how they are dealing with asbestosis.  We don't have any information on a national support group.  Most support groups are community based.  To find a group in your area, please check with your local hospital, nearest university hospital, your lung doctor, or your occupational medicine doctor.

Dear Friend,
Try search www.google.com for a pulmonary fibrosis forum (like HuffnPuff and perhaps others).  Ask on such a Forum & I'm sure others will respond.  Good luck in finding friends to "chat" with and on your transplant.
