asthma question

by kellykat60409, Jul 18, 2007 01:44PM
I have asthma and have not been able to control it. (i also smoke and am working on quitting) Two weeks ago I had an allerygy flare up and couldn't get into my doctor so I went to someone else. They gave me a sample of spriva (which in something they give to people with copd/with broncities) Since I been taking this I have not used or needed to use my resue inhaler for two weeks. Should I go to the pulminary doctor to find out if I have been misdiangosed. When I first came down with asthma I only had flare ups when I would have a cold. Now I only get hit real bad twice per year when the seasons change, but it ususally mean an er visit and they usally make me stay for a few days because my oxygen levels are hard getting back up even with all the asthma medicine they give me.
