atelectasis - inspiratory stridor

Had L shoulder arthroscopy surgery - developed flu like snyptoms week later , x ray showed atelectasis ( was on Amox) , then changed to Sufa type drug and 4 days later was near death with inspiratory stridor - how do they inter relate?
