No...AveloxAvelox Avelox i.v. belongs in the antibiotic class of fluroquinolones (I think)...not sure what you mean about it containing HIV, AIDSAids Aids - resources Early symptomatic hiv infection (??) It is a good antibiotic that kills many types of bacteria...I hope this helps sort things out. If you still have any concerns, then I would talk with your doctor...Sunny
