I have a problem with halitosis that is not of a dental nature.  I also have been to an ent.  I have terrible allergies which I am currently taking weekly shots for. The allergies cause severe post nasal drip. Can this be the cause of the halitosis and how do I fix it?

It is certainly possible that postnasal drip from allergies and/or a sinus infection can cause halitosis. If there is an infection, this will have to be treated and eliminated before you will see any change. If there is no infection, active treatment for the drainage is indicated. This is probably best accomplished with one of the inhaled nasal steroid preparations.
