blood clot

by lindab49, Mar 26, 2008 07:17PM
My husband had severe pain in one side of his back and shortness of breath. He is being investigated for a possible blood clot.  Nothing I have read mentioned this severe pain (particularly when taking a deep breath).  Is this a common sympton or could he be suffering from something else?
Thanks

Just thought I'd tell you my experience.  I've got a blood clot in my lung, have shortness of breath but no pain.   My clot is a couple of months old now and I never had the pain.  I don't know if my experience is typical or not.....
