blood pressure

by nellies, Feb 10, 2008 06:47PM
My normal blood pressure is around 112/70 but a couple of times in the last month it has climbed to 200/115 and I have had to go to the ER, but I am never told what would cause these sudden jumps in pressure, they give me antibotics and send me home. I was told that it could be pulmonary hypertension because of COPD, but still what would cause it to do this only once in awhile? I had a stress test a couple of years ago and they told me that my heart is fine, I have also had several EKGs that were normal.
