breathing

I have always had allergies but for the last two years as soon as the sun goes down(approximately 1 hour after sunset) my allergies come on severely causing extreme agitation, fast heartbeat, a difficulty to breathe, pain in my legs, severe itching of shin on my right hand and forearm.I can't focus, I'm highly irratible and can't seem to relax--I am a56 yrs old and can't understand nor deal with this problem..what is causing it and why the very high anxiety and agitation level?  Any thoughts on this?

The timing of the symptoms you describe could be related to different things (allergic and non-allergic), such as mold counts, which go higher in the dark. However, the set of symptoms you have described are not typical of allergy, particularly the anxiety and agitation. I would suggest keeping a good diary for a month describing all the symptoms, the times they occur and go away, the ways you control them etc. I would take this diary to your physician who may or may not refer you to an allergist to determine whether there is any allergy related cause to them.
