bronchitis or something else

I went to the doctor on Friday because I was running fever and have a horrible cough deep in my chest. He listens to my lungs and says they are clear. He listened to my chest and said it sounded tight. He also said my oxygen level was a little low. He diagnosed me with bronchitis and gave me an inhaler, and antibiotic and cough medicine. It has been a very long weekend and although I can sit up straight now the wheezing in my chest is so horrible it keeps me awake. I am just scared that something else is going on and they just aren't catching it. THis is the second time since January I have been this sick with these symptoms. Help
