brown morning plegm

by johnnybananas87, Mar 11, 2009 05:11PM
hi, about 6 weeks ago i got very sick with fever. after it went away i would still have mucus and runny nose. i thought it was just the symptoms that were dying down and would go away. but its been a little over a month now, and it doesnt seem to go... every morning i wake up and my mouth taste funny, so i go to the sink and spit and its brown like phlegm, i dont have to cough or anything (and i never cough). i do wake up with stuffy nose, and a lot of mucus. throughout the day i dont experience the phlegm anymore, but i do have a stuffy nose all the day, usually when im not doing strenuous activity as to where my respiratory passages would expand. i went to the doctor today and took my xray, tomorrow i get the results. ive been having this problem for a month, and ive been reading different illnesses, but i dont know what it could be. does anyone have any idea? any help is appreciated.
