can kenalog worsen glaucoma

my husband had been getting a kenalog injections for many years without being told he was diabetic. only two years ago we found out the hard way that he was diabetic. there is not family history of diabetes. i have read that kenalog can affect the glucose levels in those that are diabetic, but can it cause diabetes in those that are not already diabetic.

I forgot to include that my husband also has glaucoma, can this drug speed the progression of this disease?
