can some one help me under stand

I had Xray done in January 29-08 says I have Lingular atelectatic changes they compared it from 11-01-07 can any one tell me whats going on with my lungs i smother whenm trying to sleep or resting i cant even walk to check mail with out giving out..My doctor has not mentioned to me what this is or any thihng if i need some one else to look at me or what so since i had a xray in Nov 07 until now there are changesi hurt in my back and ribs and in the chest area,, if any one has a suggestion please tell me
