chronic cough

I posted a letter about week ago been to 2 docs family and lung had breathing test and chest x-ray all were well been on prednisone for 2 weeks now and nexium and allergy meds cough seems to keep coming back especially after 2 days of stopping steroid dont smoke cigarettes but did start smoking pot about 6 months ago cough seem to come on with cold/ allergy like symptoms about 3 months ago and i stopped smoking does anyone have any idea what this could be. or maybe i should see an ent. also does anyone think this could be serious or becuse of the test results should i not worry. I would appreciate anyones help or advice cant keep coughing everyday like this. Ty

Also on this topic if it is from smoking pot and it damaged something would that of showed up in the breathing test or in the chest xray? thank u so much for your help.
