chronic sinus drainage

I have constant sinus drainage that has been going on for over a year.  I was recently on penicillin for strep throat and that had no effect.  I need to swallow constantly and try to clear my throat.  My sinus cavities are sensitive if I press on them but otherwise there are no more symptoms.  What can I do to get rid of this drainiage?

We all have normal sinus drainage when the mucus our bodies produce is very thin and watery. If it's thicker and you are more aware of it you may want to be tested for allergies. Two of my kids and myself did not develop allergies until our early 20's. My understanding is you can develop an allergy at any point. Good luck
