Most mornings i wake up with mild headache but can also be very bad.
a constant slightly blockedBlocked tear duct or runny noseNose fracture post nasal drip
slight sore throat
tiny water like pimples on soft palete, ive had these for about 6 months now.
head pressure, fuzzy head
pain behind eyes
neck pain
The thing that i really hate is the tiredness and achy feeling i get so often now, i think im going to get a cold but i dont, the other symptoms i can cope with but i dont like feeling ill and tired.
Has anybody had allergys (allergies) that give these symptoms or chronic sinusitis.
I really would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.X
One of the possible causes (but by no means, the only possible cause--keep seeing different docs) is a chronic fungal infection. It can cause many sinusitis symptoms without enough congestion to show up on scans. If your ENT even knows about it, there's no treatment available yet. (Google: Dr. Jens Ponikau) He has the patent on the eventual treatment.
For now, the effective treatment for it (and yes, I got a mold/fungus infection after I cleared up all of my bacteria sinusitis problems, and cured that too) is the Flip-Turn Sinus Flush. If you've tried a regular saline irrigation, it wont work because gravity prevents saline from reaching your upper sinuses, which is where the problem usually resides (note your pain behind your eyes).
The Flip-Turn Sinus Flush is mildly risky, because you have to bend over to do it, preferably in a shower, but you can also do it outside on soft ground.
It's also rather brutal feeling at first, but it will remove anything that doesn't belong in your sinus cavities. Good luck
I just wanted to clarify a statement in the previous post "If your ENT even knows about it". I meant to imply that unless he or she has run tests, the ENT may not know what particular infection you have. I do not want to imply that there is even a single ENT that is not knowledgeable about fungal infections.
PS. Try taking 2 nettle leaf capsules, 3 times a day for a few weeks. If you do have allergies, there is evidence that the magnesium in the nettle will reduce or eliminate allergic reactions
I developed chronic sinusitis after catching a respiratory virus that would not go away. This same virus seems to have kicked off receding gums (periodontal disease) in my mouth, skin problems, fatigue, memory difficulties, and many others.
i have all your symptoms.infact i feel my head is going to explode sometimes .i have had sinusitis from being young and am over sixty now.only just in the last few years have i found out that i have a problem with strong smells ,so i am using a saline nasal spray which clears the nasal passages and once they are clear,if i carry on using this, they should not get blocked agen.i am sure it will not happen over night ,but at least it relieves the pressure and in time will solve other problems related to sinusitis
