Hi Mark- From my experiences with my son's chronic sinus problems I can suggest a few genral things:
1) you must be your own advocate and PUSH for answers. The more research you do before a Dr appointment the better. Have your questions written out so you don't forget. Bring someone with you to take notes and do noot leave until you understand everything you have been told.
2) We had some good results with teaching hospitals near us in Chicago. Perhaps John Hopkins would have some good specialists.
3) You can also ask your question on the Medical forum side of this website where you can answers from physicians.
