My throat is extremely sensitive and when I smoke a single ciggerrette I get my pharynx inflamed and red for almost months to come.The throat feels painful allover and because I also suffer from insomnia It is also accompanied by headache.Please advise how to get rid of this constant pain and feeling of tightness in throat.I have had this problem for 2 years now.blood tests revealed nothing.Anti allergics and antibiotics dont help.Please advise

While, it is very difficult to understand the mechanism that exposure to a single irritant can have effects for months, it does obviously occur. The answer, however, is easy. Don't smoke any cigarettes!
