I have been having this awful conjestion for a long time especially when I lie down and after I get up in the morning.
I have had lots of allergy tests and tried different medicines and nothing has helped. I have a lot of mucas that comes up but small bits, I just don't know what to do to get rid of it. It all started after I had been real sick with a bad cold and doctor treated me for a bronichail infection but this has continued for so long. I need some help from someone.
I have a similar problem; I’m still fighting it; what seems to be working for me is thyme. Make a tea using two tablespoons of fresh (one tablespoon of dried) thyme in a cup of boiling water; steep, covered, for four minutes; strainStrains and drink hot. You should drink it 3 times a day. Thyme relaxes the lungs and promotes expectoration of mucus. If you cough, you can add a teaspoon of honey. You can check out my post titled “tightness/wheezing along with chest pain and bloodyBloody or tarry stools mucus”. Good luck.
