Over the past six weeks I have had one cold after another. I wake up with a sore throat, runny nose, sneezing. After a few days I get better, then it all starts over again. I usually only have one or two days with no symptoms before it starts again. What could be causing this? Could it be something other than a cold?
It is most likely something other than a cold – since it has lasted so long. It could be infection or allergy. If this is an infection, your body is trying, unsuccessfully, to fight it off. You should see your doctor.
