constant pain in lung area for the last 14 months

I'm 31 years old and have been in constant pain around the rib area for about 14 months now. the pain feels like somebody was punching me in the ribs all night. I was a painter for about a year before the pain started. The paint I used contained hazmats such as silica. In febuary of last year test showed I had some lung scarring (2 percent). I have taken all kinds of tests (ct,mri, bone scan, stress, and blood). And no one can explain the pain. I've been on lyrica and voltaren now since september but i can still feel it. Also since then my blood pressure has gone up and now i am on bp meds. Any idea on what road to go down next?

Pain in this area can be from several different organs.  It can come from the lung, the lining of the lung, the heart, the muscles in the chest and the nerves to these muscles and the ribs.  Any of these could be the cause of the pain.  I would suggest evaluating each of these organs independently to find the cause.
