does vasomotor rhinitis affect your throat?

by matth763, May 18, 2008 01:16PM
Hi. Im pretty sure i have vasomotor (non-allergis) rhinitis. I've had a blocked nose for months and fit the criteria. But does it also afect your throat? I have difficulty breathing some times. like today its making me feel dizzy and light headed and like i have to almost fight for breath at times. Sometimes i just have the blocked nose but no throat problems. so i dont know if its part of something else? possibly allergies or asthma or something more serious? Its not like a lump in the throat or painful. but feels ike it closing in, particularly on either side of the adams apple.  can anyone offer some advice? its kinda freakin me out!! thanks :)

Hi,

I have like mucus in throat for 7 months, and an undesciable vision problem which is not related to anything (more like drinking 2 beers feeling but 24/7).

I have sinus problem but need to go to dr. since it is not going with nasal psray, people tell me all these are vasomotor rhinitis.....

How can a dr. tell it is?
