effects of another positive tb skin test

What happens when someone takes another tb skin test when they've had a positive tb skin test before?
I didn't remember that I've had a positive tb skin test so I decided to take another one. I lost my records and decided to just get another one. My parents who just found out today that I got another skin test, got angry because they said I didn't have to... that all I had to do was provide an x-ray to let the people know I've had skin test before.
Can someone please help explain the effects of another positive tb skin test? What will happen to me?
