That is a disaster. I too have had sinus surgery and resulted in losing all of my turbinate tissue on one side and left with a very tiny amount on the other side. However, my deviated septum was successfully fixed and I only get an infection once a year, which I can clear up with antibiotics and irrigations. My only problem is that because I don't have turbinate tissue, my sinuses tend to be very dry and the mucous balls up in them, giving me headaches. However if I make sure I drink plenty during the day, this is not a problem. Living in a humid climate also helps this. As for the bad surgical part of your right nostril going under your lip and mucous draining into your dentures should be repaired. Try to find an ENT who uses an endoscope that has fibre optic technology. My last ENT doctor, who is the guru of sinus specialists here, uses this technology and it is amazing the kind of vision they get with it. He cut out some scar tissue and the likes that were causing me problems. He explained to me that a lot of the doctors are using old technology that doesn't allow them to have a good view at all of the sinuses and this is where all of the mistakes are happening. His job these days is to repair these mistakes! Just terrible. Anyway, I was able to see my brains behind the membrane in the sinuses with his scope. It was amazing the clarity.
So that is my suggestions. Drink plenty of fluids. Irrigate your sinuses when you can. and get your nose repaired by a good ENT doctor who has up to date equipment, as you can't keep living with that kind of drainage.
