i was recently hospitalized for 4 days- copd exeacerbation- iv steroids every 8 hours. hypoxic with ambulation,room air 83%. discharge paper said full code status- what does that mean?

Full code status means that all possible measures are taken to revive a person and sustain life.

"Full code status" means that if you have cardiopulmonary arrest, that is if you stop breathing or your heart stops beating, the medical team will do everything in their power to bring you back such as defibrillation (shocking with paddles) giving drugs to start your heart, putting you on a ventilator etc....
