how long is my survival possible

I have had Bronchiectasis since 7months old up until I was 15 no name had been given to my condition just called a chesty kid. at 15 had bronchoscopy and bronchogram i have been told my condition was caused by measles and whooping cough when a baby. I have been told this condition never gets better only worse.it is in both my lungs and i have now got 27per cent lung function i am now 67 am able to drive my car but extremely breathless when i try to walk. how much more lung function can i afford to loose before my lungs pack up working thanks
