Yes, in fact there are treatment plans that include inhalers with both disorders. Common inhalers used are short acting bronchodilators such as albuterol (proventil, albuterol etc..) and long acting bronchodilators such as salmeterol (sp?) or serevent. Of course there are many others, these are just examples. Another type of inhaler are anti-inflammatory such as Flovent, Pulmicort (contain a  steroid of some sort). The long term and steroid inhalers are used mostly for keeping your disease at a maintanence level. The short term inhalers are rescue inhalers, they are used when a person is wheezing and having problems with breathing.
If you are having problems with breathing and are having symptoms, please see your doc so that he or she can give you the right meds/tests depending on what the examination reveals.
