I am 19 years old, I'm not overweight and when i was aether 17 or 18 the doctor diagnosed me with Hyperventilation syndrome, he took x-rays of my lungs and found that it wasn't anything there, and he also had my co2 levels checked. Before that all of my doctors had heard my symptoms and just assumed it was asthma, however the inhalers weren't working. so when i went in to this guy he prescribed hydroxyzineHydroxyzine Hydroxyzine hydrochloride Hydroxyzine pamoate to me and they did go away, eventually i think my body got a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys too dependent on those pills (i know you say that cant happen but I'm pretty sure that's what happened) so I'm thinking that it must be the proper diagnoses but then i had another doctor tell me that you have to be overweight to have Hyperventilation syndrome and that the other doctor was just telling me that i had a bit of anxiety. So now I'm not too sure my symptoms are every time i get upset i end up gasping for breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor, it really looks like I'm just doing it for attention but i really cant controlControl Control rx it, also on a regular basis i have been yawning a lot trying to get a breath and when i cant i get light headed, my hands start tingling, and my chest hurts and it really starts to freak me out, i haven't noticed anything with my hart other than it goes a little faster but i think that's part of me getting upset that i cant breath. Sometimes i have a hard time going to sleep because of it but i seem to sleep okay, no problems breathing or anything but once a wake up it starts all over again. I should also probably tell you that I just started on an ADHD medication a couple months ago, and I'm not sure if its relevant but i have a lot of problems with my sinuses and have non-allergic rhinitis. And since i have sinus headaches all the time I'm not sure if i would notice having an anxiety headache. Is it what they told me it is? Also is it something that i should be worried about or just take it as something that I'm stuck with?
