I had bronchitis Mar of 2007 and i have had concurrent bronchitis and sinus infections since then. I also have had to take breathing treatments almost daily since then. I frequently have wheezing, coughing, and occasionally cough up small amount of mucus plug which is almost clear in appearance. What are your suggestions of what i can do to help and is this normal to go on this long?

This is most likely related to a chronic sinusitis which can last for a very long time unless appropriately treated.  As a first step, I would speak to your physician about getting a CT scan of the sinuses and making sure that there is not continued infection.  The chest symptoms may not go away until the sinuses are cleared.
