what is bilateral apical central lobular emphysema
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hello and hope you are doing well.

The report states that there is Emphysema located in the apical portion of the lungs. It is a chronic lung disease. Emphysema occurs when the air sacs in the lungs are gradually destroyed, leading to shortness of breath. Emphysema is one of several diseases known collectively as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Smoking is the leading cause of emphysema.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
