lung heaviness

I have had a heaviness in my chest and slight pain when I take deep breathes since I was sick this winter. Do you think it could be long-lasting pneumonia? I feel fine otherwise. Sometimes I get short of breathe when going up stairs but I contribute that to winter laziness. Seems like I would have other symptoms if I just had a chest cold still

Shortness of breath can be due to compromised heart or bronchoconstriction itself. Please get spirometry done, if no pathlogy or signinficant findings are seen, go for ECHO to rule out heart failure.
